The Department “Federal IT Architecture and Standardization Management, Cybersecurity” includes some of the key topics for federal administration digitization: Together with our stakeholders, we design federal IT architectures and IT standards as a basis for nationwide digitalization measures of public administration. You actively participate in the further development of the business and IT architectures in the federal IT landscape of the federal government and countries. In doing so, you bring your experience into analysis and documentation and make sure that structures are comprehensible and meaningful. You work closely with FITKO's product management and accompany the development of solution architectures and accompany your expertise in evaluating, designing and implementing solutions. You recognize optimization potentials in the federal IT landscape (including basic components, APIs, SDKs and information structures in the form of products and IT standards), develop and evaluierst options for action and represent them to stakeholders: in the federal state and countries. You work in close cooperation with other analysts:inside, architect:inside, product and project managers:inside as well as the IT security expert:inside the FITKO and stakeholders:inside from federal and state governments. You bring your expertise into working groups, bodies and projects and develop solutions for specific architecture-relevant questions. Together with the team, you analyze, develop, test and optimise frameworks, methods and processes for managing federal IT architecture. You actively participate in their ongoing construction and professionalization. You participate in the creation and further development of federal architecture requirements, establish effective processes for their enforcement and check IT projects and products on their compliance. You will develop necessary (technical) measures to implement the IT Planning Council strategy. In doing so, it initiates and supports corresponding transition and implementation projects and permanently checks whether the strategic objectives are achieved.

Higher education (Master, University Diploma, 2nd State Exams) in the field of computer science, business informatics, administrative informatics, political or administrative sciences with a focus on IT or digital transformation, business administration (BWL) with a focus on IT or digital transformation, engineering, mathematics, physics or another comparable course of study. As an alternative, relevant qualifications and skills on Master level. You bring experience in one or more of the following areas: enterprise architecture management, solution architecture, IT system architecture, software architecture, IT standards, IT-Change management, IT strategy, project/product portfolio management, business analysis, business process modeling or a comparable area. You are familiar with the relevant methods, tools and frameworks of the Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) - for example TOGAF - and have experience with relevant modelling languages such as ArchiMate. You bring knowledge and experience in the design, development and operation of IT systems as well as a very good overview of current technologies, trends in software development and IT operation. You have the pleasure of recognizing relationships, keeping the “Great and Whole” in mind and preparing complex topics in a comprehensible and addressable way. You like to work in the team, communicate with appreciation and actively contribute to constructive cooperation in in interdisciplinary groups. You have a very good linguistic expressiveness in word and writing in German (German C2). Good linguistic communication skills in English are advantageous.
