With worldwide inspection systems, the ROSEN Group ensures the safe operation of industrial plants. In steady growth, ROSEN is constantly developing new areas of application. As a development engineer with focus on measuring technology and sensor technology, you work independently on the further development of ultrasonic measuring systems. In an interdisciplinary team, you act as a Sparring partner in the discovery of ideas and are responsible for the definition and selection of suitable sensor technology, whose field of application you experimentally verify.

ACTIVITIES: Conception and realization of measurement technology based on ultrasound technology for non-destructive material testing Further development of methods for evaluating sensor systems Integration, optimization and evaluation of sensors in the overall system Analysis and evaluation of the measured data and derivation of specifications Planning and implementation of scientific experiments in the team Central specialist contact for sensor concepts Interdisciplinary cooperation with other specialist departments (e.g. algorithm development, construction, electrical engineering, manufacturing)

You'll also bring: Complete study with a focus on physics, sensor technology, electrical engineering or comparable training Knowledge of laboratory work, measuring systems and sensor technologies, ideal for non-destructive material testing Experience with laboratory automation and laboratory data acquisition software (LabView) is advantageous Basic knowledge of electronic components and circuits A well-founded, broad technical and physical basic understanding Basic programming knowledge, ideally in Python or other visual programming languages Good knowledge of English in word and writing, German is an advantage
