HafenCity, Billebogen, Grasbrook and the Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld are responsible for the development of four highly complex urban future projects in Hamburg. This is about challenges to which modern metropolises have to find answers and to which You have a special responsibility.

HafenCity, with its urban use mix and sustainable urban space quality, is a flagship project across Europe. In the new urban development areas Billebogen, Grasbrook and the Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld, these approaches are consistently further developed. HafenCity Hamburg GmbH sets progressive development impulses and offers one of the most extensive and exciting areas of work in the industry – from conception to implementation to operation and management.

Total responsibility for asset management and strategic project development of existing properties Development and implementation of portfolio strategies to optimise profitability, risk and value development, taking into account cultural policy frameworks Control of modernization, refurbishment, reuse and new construction projects including the zero-emission house as a central lighthouse project Development of sustainable use and value enhancement concepts for the real estate stock as well as further development of the sustainability strategy with a focus on inventory and materiality Consideration and integration of conservation requirements in development and management concepts Responsibility for rental strategy and leadership of central lease negotiations Management of complex voting processes and active stakeholder management, in particular with authorities, investors and project partners:inside Head of department incl. Budget responsibility, quality assurance and further development of the organisation and team

Completed degree in real estate management, business management with a focus on real estate management, architecture, civil engineering or a comparable degree Multiannual professional and management experience, in particular in stock management and development Funded real estate, business and technical knowledge Experience in managing complex projects and safe use of project management methods knowledge of procurement, planning and construction law and the handling of conservation requirements Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills with enforcement strength and diplomatic skills High level of organisation, flexibility and implementation orientation
