Head of Maintenance & Facility Management (m/f/d)

To strengthen our leadership team, we are looking for a Head of Maintenance & Facility Management (m/w/d) at the earliest possible time. As Head of Maintenance & Facility Management (m/w/d), you and your team are responsible for the entire maintenance of our machine-intensive production plant. You are not only in demand as a manager, but as a hand-on manager: you take the tax in hand by coordinating inspections, repairs and maintenance measures, solving technical problems, developing and implementing concepts for improving plant and infrastructure availability, energy efficiency and sustainability – and thus designing maintenance and facility management forward-looking. In detail, you are responsible for: You take over the disciplinary and professional leadership of a team of experts in electrical and mechanical engineering. The personal and professional development of the employees: you always have a look at them. Together with the maintenance and facility team as well as external service providers and in close cooperation with production, technology and procurement, You ensure optimal availability and operational safety of machines and technical facilities (including supply technology and building infrastructure) in order to avoid unplanned machine shutdowns and production failures. In addition, ensure that our buildings and outdoor facilities remain in fire and reliably meet operational requirements. You take over the annual planning and monitoring of the maintenance budget, develop and optimise maintenance concepts (OEE, TPM, spare parts management) and advise the management in the award of external maintenance contracts, external services and investment projects. You keep an overview of relevant funding programmes, identify suitable possibilities and support the application of appropriate funding. As part of investment projects, your technical know-how is required. You support the technology department and purchasing in technical clarification with suppliers and service providers. In case of plant changes, reassembles and disassembles, you can pack with your maintenance team and actively contribute to proper commissioning. You are responsible for the necessary testing tasks at the site (e.g. expert testing of ventilation system, pressure tanks, ex-protection, CE conformity etc.), regularly monitor compliance with statutory and operational health, machine safety and environmental regulations. This also includes the assignment, supervision and supervision of foreign companies and the acceptance of foreign services provided after adjustments or changes. As a fire protection officer (m/w/d), you are responsible for the preventive fire protection. You update and maintain the fire protection regulations (parts A–C), carry out regular visits and monitor compliance with all relevant regulations. You organize evacuation exercises, monitor the state of the fire-protection equipment (e.g. sprinklers, fire alarms, smoke alarms and fire extinguishers), and carry out training and instruction for our employees. In addition, you will accompany structural measures with a focus on fire protection, work with authorities, insurance companies and the fire department and actively help develop our safety culture. You take over the role of the Energy and Environmental Officer (m/w/d) and actively support the maintenance and development of the energy and environmental management system according to ISO 50001/ISO 14001. You collect and analyze energy indicators, generate energy and environmental reports, plan measures to increase sustainability and energy efficiency and implement them. You are closely involved in the preparation and monitoring of internal and external audits.

Take this with you: You have successfully completed an engineering-scientific university/high-school study with a focus on mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, mechatronics or the like, or a technical training with additional training to the industrial master/technician (m/w/d) or the like. You bring several years of professional experience in the maintenance of a production company and were able to gain first experience in the personal and professional management of employees. (m/w/d), Environmental Officer (m/w/d) and/or Fire Protection Officer (m/w/d) have further qualified or are willing to continue professional training. The learning motivation and a quick understanding are already provided. In addition to your hands-on mentality, your strengths include the technical understanding of process and production relationships as well as your organizational talent, a pronounced service orientation, high problem-solving competence, good communicative skills as well as a high level of responsibility and cost awareness.
