Service Architect - Full Managed Private Cloud Stack (m/f/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. Service Architect - Full Managed Private Cloud Stack (m/w/d) from now on and in full time at one of our BWI locations. Shared Service Delivery (SSD) is responsible for service design, service development and provision of all end-user, data centers & cloud infrastructure as well as BWI service communication services. It provides predominantly standardized service solutions for customers available. Shared service delivery is an integral part of the CDO and is therefore crucially responsible for the common objectives and measures. Our incentive is maximum operational stability and high customer satisfaction. The SSD PoD2 C&P Cloud Team 1 and Cloud Team 2 departments are responsible for the architecture, development and provision of the private cloud for the customer and provide standardized services.

Responsibility for the analysis, evaluation and assurance of the strategic further development of the IT architecture in the field of technology and responsibility as part of the pCloudBw

Continuous development of the service with the focus on deployment, installation and operation

Target group-oriented creation and presentation of complex issues / IT architecture topics for different internal and external stakeholders in the context of pCloudBw

Working/voting in architectural bodies

Cooperation in interdisciplinary and cross-service teams, incl. leadership of professional teams as required

Complete IT-related study of computer science, business informatics, comparable MINT courses or comparable training

At least 6 years of relevant professional experience with tasks as a service or solutions architect

Multiannual experience in IT architecture management in the complex environment

Multiannual experience with the introduction of private cloud environments in particular in the regulated & military environment and their expression as sovereign / dedicated (on premise) solution

Very good knowledge (certification is advantageous) in the field of Linux, Kubernetes, Prometheus, ISTIO, Grafana, LAN / Server & Storage Hardware

Experience in building infrastructures in the data center environment

Experience in cooperation with regulators (e.g. BSI, DEUmilSAA and the like) in the field of certifications and accreditations to ensure regulatory requirements

Self-employed work, methodological, economic and solution-oriented thinking and action, initiative, ability to change and decide, communicative team player with social competence and commitment

Willingness to work in rotating readiness

English fluent in word and writing
