Then you will be part of our global team as Head (w/m/d) of Radiation Protection and Environment, Health and Safety PET Radiopharmaceuticals Europe and India. In this role, you take on the direct responsibility for radiation protection and environmental, health and safety (EHS) at PETNET Solutions and Advanced Accelerator Applications – a Siemens Healthineers Company – at the production sites for PET radiopharmaceuticals in Europe and India as well as for sales activities in Switzerland. This position reports directly to the Global Head of Radiation Protection and EHS. **

If you choose the best place for your work - in this place, it is possible to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the working time.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • They assume the overall responsibility for compliance with regulations and safety standards at the production sites of PETNET Solutions and Advanced Accelerator Applications, a Siemens Healthineers Company, Europe and India, as well as for sales to Switzerland and, where appropriate, other European countries.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • They have completed studies or certification in medical physics, radiation protection in healthcare, general radiation protection or a comparable field.
  • They have many years of professional experience in radiochemical or radiopharmaceutical production plants or in applied radiation protection with comparable tasks.
  • They are familiar with regulations on radioactive substances, environmental protection and transport of dangerous goods in Europe.
  • They bring leadership experience with (both in projects and people management) and have already led international teams.
  • You have experience implementing an EHS management system.
  • You can safely control the Microsoft 365 tools.

Your profile and skills:

  • They have excellent English skills in word and writing to communicate technical content clearly and precisely. Further language skills are advantageous.
  • They think analytically and effectively solve complex, cross-area challenges.
  • They work in a solution-oriented manner and involve relevant stakeholders in the development of practical solutions.
