As SAP Inhouse Consultant (m/w/d) in our IT field, you actively shape the future of our global export, import and customs processes. You bring your deep know-how into SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) and contribute to adhering to global trade guidelines and optimizing our international logistics chain.

With your SAP solutions, you will ensure that we always achieve the greatest benefit for our global, internal customers. You are responsible for the introduction, further development and optimization of SAP GTS processes and features – with a special focus on penalty list testing, preferential management, export control and customs processing. With your expertise, you take over the conception and the Hands-On Customizing in national and international rollout projects. You advise our internal project managers and the department as a well-founded GTS process expert to implement efficient and law-compliant trade processes. You analyse and design customer-specific requirements in order to find tailor-made and innovative solutions – from the Fit-Gap analysis to the final implementation. In interdisciplinary teams, you opt for processes, implement them in the SAP or SAP environment (GTS/SD/MM/LE) and ensure the high quality of our implementations – including testing and error analysis. In addition, you bring your ideas into the conceptual redesign of the global templates.

A completed university degree (economy engineering, business informatics, BWL) or a comparable qualification. Funded knowledge and multi-year, relevant practical experience in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS), ideally in the functional areas of compliance management, custom management and/or preference management. Deep process knowledge in international trade and customs law and export control. Very good hands-on customizing capabilities in SAP GTS as well as good knowledge of SAP SD and ideally LE. Cross-module process knowledge is advantageous. Including practical experience with complex IT or SAP projects and international rollouts. Experience with the integration of SAP GTS into upstream (SD) and downstream (custom/financial) systems (interface design/EDI). Top would be, ideally, first touch points with SAP S4 and/or Fiori. First knowledge and skills in SAP debugging are desirable. Flowing German knowledge and knowledge of English for the international project environment. Ready for occasional business trips.
