Group finance is a staff division of the Salzgitter AG holding company and reports directly to the Finance Board. Core tasks include: cash management, foreign exchange trading, financing transactions, rolling 6M liquidity planning, IT systemic development, Aval business, hedging strategies, policy setting and process definition for the financial sector of Salzgitter AG. For this department we are looking for a dedicated person as a senior risk manager (visen specialist) (w/m/d).

Further development of the Group-wide security strategy for currency, interest and counterparty risks. Control of market price risk management via the central trading desk and monitoring of limits and counterparty risks. Completion and management of hedges (including spot, forward, swap and option transactions) within defined risk parameters. Analysis of financial markets, risk positions and security results for deriving sound control impulses. Creation of address-oriented risk and performance reports for board, committees and auditors. Advising the Group companies on currency, interest and counterparty risks as well as participation in the further development of treasury systems and processes.

Successfully completed studies in business, economics, finance or a comparable qualification. Multiannual professional experience in treasury, financial risk management, corporate finance or banking environment. Knowledge gained in dealing with financial instruments and in the management of currency, interest and counterparty risks. Safe handling of risk management, treasury and reporting systems as well as a strong understanding of financial relationships. Analytical and conceptual strength combined with a high number affinity and entrepreneurial thinking. Communication strength, negotiation skills and an independent and solution-oriented way of working.
