As Category Buyer (m/w/d) Building Envelope Systems, you take responsibility for selected product groups around the building envelope and actively shape their strategic development. You work closely with our production sites, technical departments and national and international suppliers. Development and implementation of product group and procurement strategies in the area of Building Envelope Systems Strategic purchasing of products, systems and components for the building envelope Responsibility for defined product groups such as glass, window, facade and door systems as well as other metal components Control of tenders, tender comparisons and award decisions Selection, evaluation and strategic development of national and international suppliers Negotiation of prices, conditions and framework agreements and implementation of cost optimization potentials Analysis of procurement markets and close cooperation with internal departments to ensure economic and reliable supply

Complete industrial or technical studies or comparable qualifications Professional experience in strategic purchasing, technical purchasing or category management Ideally industry knowledge in metal, window or facade construction or in the building envelope Technical understanding and knowledge of relevant product groups such as glass, window, facade or door systems Experience in tendering and supplier and contract negotiations Analytical, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation Communication strength, negotiation skills, self-initiative, team capacity and joy in developing product groups actively Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing
