The area of responsibility includes, for example, the self-sponsored advice of beneficiaries, the technical examination of complex funding applications, the participation in the preparation of legally demanding and financially significant funding decisions, the administrative implementation of the projects and, in particular, the structural examination of medium requirements and evidence of use in support projects. Within the scope of the activity, it is necessary, inter alia, to make independent findings on the eligibility of complex projects, in particular in the context of the mid-release review, decisions on the appropriate use of the allowance, compliance with requirements (general secondary provisions, procurement law, environmental law, etc.), compliance with internal audit paths, compliance with the eligibility rules, possibly also through subsidious facts under § 6 Subsidies Act. The legal implementation of the funding programmes and projects is to be ensured. Beneficiaries are essentially municipalities, but also companies and institutions of a wide variety of types. There is an intensive cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy.

Applicants must have the following conditions: Graduate (FH) or Bachelor) in the course of study or in the field of study of civil engineering or architecture It would also be desirable: experience in the field of support, in particular ERDF support, economic (basic) characteristics, in-depth knowledge of procurement law and basic knowledge in aid law.
