The SOS Children's Village Prignitz offers a place of encounter and support for all people from the social area and especially for children, young people and parents. Our help from a single source includes children's daycare facilities, early help, educational counselling centres, youth and school social work, a multi-generation house, a children's and youth campus centre and various stationary offers in the urban children's village.

For the consulting center in Pritzwalk in the SOS-Kinderdorf Prignitz we are looking for a 01.10.2025 Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, part-time (max. 20 to 30 hours/Where)

As a psychologist / social pedagogue in our SOS advisory board, you will accompany children, young people, parents, families, couples and adult individuals in educational issues, family conflicts, personal crises and psychosocial challenges. They work resource-oriented, provide technical advice and therapeutic support and promote the personal development of your clients. Through a trusted relationship work, you develop individual solution strategies. They advise children, young people and adults and offer support They support parents in educational questions and support families in challenging situations They advise according to the legal foundations of §§16-18, 28 and 8a SGBVIII They are conscientiously implementing measures to protect children and persons

You have a completed university degree in psychology (Diplom or Master of Science) or social education with a corresponding additional qualification or a comparable qualification They bring experiences in (education) advisory work They ideally have additional therapeutic training, e.g. in couple, family and life consulting, or in a creative or movement-oriented process such as music, game, art or movement therapy.
