The area of central procurement, contract management and insurance covers, among other things, the equipment of the employees of the city of Troisdorf and acquires necessary resources such as furniture, telecommunications, IT equipment, software, vehicles, office equipment etc., and creates conditions for sustainable tasks in a modern municipal administration.

For the performance of the tasks we seek reinforcement as

Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in the field of central procurement, contract management and insurance EC 10 TvöD/ A 11 LBesG

A full-time job with complementary part-time staff (real job sharing) is possible.

Your duties

• Implementation of national and open complex procurement procedures IT hardware and software (in particular IT infrastructure and procurement measures in projects, here hardware and software)
• Examination and recording of changes to software contracts and licenses in the main office
• Further development of contract standards and legal assessment of contractual conditions
• Training in the administrative professions of the main office

Your profile

• You have the ability to work for category 2.1 for non-technical administrative services or a successful degree as a Bachelor in Administrative Informatics, Administration, Business Administration or Bachelor of Law or a successfully completed training as an administrative specialist or a further education as a legal expert*in
• You have at least one year's professional experience, preferably in public administration or in purchasing or contract law
• You have basic knowledge in one of the jurisdictions of contract law, contract law or have the willingness to acquire appropriate knowledge in the short term
• They are digitally affin and willing to acquire basic knowledge of information technology processes and relationships
• You will enjoy new topics and want to advance them with a high level of implementation
• They have a strong readiness for responsibility and performance
• They work independently, are resilient and show communication strength and service orientation
• They have a realistic, structured and precise way of thinking and working
• They are characterized by a high social competence, a capacity for team-oriented action and conflict resolution.
