Leiter:in Data Governance (m/f/d)

A task that challenges. We are looking for a dedicated Head of Data Governance (m/w/d) that supports our team in driving the strategic management and development of our data management and governance structures. A special focus is on ensuring and continuously improving data quality as a basis for resilient and data-driven decisions. You develop and implement a company-wide data strategy with a focus on data quality, compliance and secure data handling strategically (further). You define, implement, and develop data governance policies, standards and processes, taking into account legal requirements and specialist area needs. You establish and control data quality processes and metrics to ensure the timeliness, completeness and correctness of data. You coordinate and guide data governance and data quality initiatives in close cooperation with specialist areas as well as digitization and process teams. You build a data governance framework, including clear role and responsibility definitions, and roll it out in the organization (including building the necessary skills). You sensitize and train employees:in dealing with data quality and governance requirements.

A backgroud that convinces. You are a leading person with strong communication skills in order to convey complex data and governance issues in a comprehensible and across-the-range manner. You have extensive experience in building and managing data governance or data management structures with a strong focus on data quality management. You have a thorough understanding of data quality metrics, data quality processes and relevant legal frameworks (such as GDPR). You are sure to use data governance tools, data quality ratings, and data quality improvement methods. You have a degree in (economic) informatics, business management, mathematics or a comparable field of expertise; a further degree (e.g. Master, Promotion) is advantageous.
