Team Leader Engine Build-Up (m/f/d)

Leadership & Responsibility: Professional and disciplinary leadership of a 12-member, diverse team of aircraft mechanics: inside and craftsmen with strict compliance with KPIs and highest safety standards ('Safety First''). Engine upgrade: You bear the technical responsibility for the assembly and upgrading of state-of-the-art aircraft engines (e.g. for the A320neo family) and provide a deep understanding of engine components. Process optimization: You are actively working on the continuous improvement of the Shopfloor processes and implementing methods such as CVP, Kaizen and 5S. Communication as a link: With Hands-on mentality, you'll be at eye level with the professional teams and present eloquent results and analyses (via MS Excel and PowerPoint) to management. Company values & strategy: You actively support the corporate values, quickly switch between operational day-to-day business and strategic planning and occasionally participate in international leadership events.

Education: Completed aeronautical training or technical studies (e.g. aeronautical engineering/aircraft engineering). Motivated candidate: Inside with potential from other technical sectors are also welcome. Professional experience: Compulsory 1–2 years of proven leadership experience (e.g. as a team or shift manager:in 5–6 employees) Methods & IT skills: Very safe handling of MS Office (especially Excel formulas and PowerPoint) as well as collaboration tools (teams, SharePoint). Knowledge of lean management (Kaizen, 5S) is a strong plus. Language knowledge: German (C2) for the everyday workshop as well as very good English knowledge for communication with management and international interfaces. It is advantageous Experience in implementing EBU solutions. Certifications in project management (e.g. Prince2, PMP).
