Specialized guidance of secondary workers in their own field and other employees in the area of nature protection in the Federal Forestry (BFB) Support of department management and processing of individual cases Strategic orientation and development of principles of basic data collection, planning and monitoring systems Federal-wide control as well as the development of principles for basic environmental assessment & technical planning and monitoring Technical control of the BFB'n and the military users as well as services in the creation of the Biotopcartation Federation and the Natura 2000 Management Planning within the scope of responsibility Processing of parliamentary/political enquiries, from other authorities, etc. in the field of nature conservation Final quality assurance of the biotope mapping federal government and the Natura 2000 management planning federal forest Technical conception and implementation of nature conservation courses Management and participation in project meetings/workshops as well as co-operation of federal countries We work mobile and flexible. However, on the service post/workplace occasional missions, including throughout the federal territory, are incurred. These missions are generally planned with sufficient chronological advance, so that the reconciliation of family and occupation is guaranteed.

Qualification: Completed academic studies (Diplom [Univ.] /Master) of the Department of Forest Science, Landscape Ecology, Care, Planning or Comparative Qualification Competences: At the time of occupation at least two years of relevant professional experience in the higher service* Funded knowledge and practical experience in basic environmental assessment and NATURA 2000 Management In-depth knowledge of biotope and habitat protection, landscape care and nature conservation In-depth knowledge of the relevant environmental and conservation regulations of the federal and federal states GIS knowledge
