Teachers for integrative learning

The learning centres are day nurseries for individual development promotion and education. They accompany children aged 6 to 13. The learning rooms are part of the offer of the Erlanger Youth Office to strengthen families. They support children in different situations of life, develop well, find their own way and use their talents and strengths.

Your tasks:

• Planning and individual promotion of children on the basis of the legal requirements and the special conception of the urban learning institutions
• Promotion of children in small groups or individual work, in particular for children with educational and other needs for integration
• Designing a sustainable educational relationship with children and designing an educational partnership with parents
• Participatory work in the team, with the children and their families
• Cooperation and networking within the framework of the educational and prevention chain of the Erlanger Stadtjugendamtes with precursor and connection facilities, as well as external representation of the institution of the City Youth and its network partners
• Holiday trips and holiday programs, planning and implementation of project-related learning as well as organization and documentation tasks

Your profile:

• Completed vocational training as a state-recognized educatorin or comparable vocational training with recognition as a specialist or completed degree as a Diplom-Social Pedagogin (FH) or Bachelor Social Work with state recognition or comparable degree with recognition as a specialist in a children's day care facility
• Creativity and eagerness of ideas regarding the design of educational offers
• Competences in integrative work and work with children with increased needs
• Conceptual basic understanding of participatory work
• Embossed team skills
• Self-employed and structured work and innovative skills
