The Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) is the largest university in Baden-Württemberg with around 33,000 students at nine study academies and three campuses as well as the Center for Advanced Studies. Together with 9,000 selected companies as well as social and health-related facilities, DHBW provides an excellently qualified specialist and managerial growth in the fields of business, technology, social and health.

Since 1 January 2023 it has been part of the dual European University EU4Dual.

At the DHBW Heilbronn, some 1,550 students are currently studying in the BWL degree programs Commerce, Services Management, Food Management, Digital Commerce Management and Technical Management (B.A.) as well as Wine Technology Management, Business Informatics and Data Science and AI (B. Sc.). The modern educational campus in the centre of the city offers an ideal setting.

Your tasks:

The team of methods and processes at DHBW Heilbronn supports the university to professionally design and implement change processes in a sustainable manner. We develop and establish standards for project and process management, accompany digitization and organisational development projects and drive the optimization of business processes.

To strengthen our team and the responsible process manager, you will take over the following tasks:

• Process analysis & optimization: They analyze existing processes, document them, develop optimization proposals with the relevant stakeholders and accompany the implementation.
• Process & workflow modelling: They independently model processes and workflows using SAP Signavio BPMN 2.0 as well as other tools, including interfaces to ERP systems, document management systems (DMS), learning management systems and other digital platforms.
• Training & Competence: They design training on process management methods as well as process modeling and perform these independently.
• Project management & implementation: In close coordination with the management, you implement processes and project modules independently and pilot them in the course of the project.
• Workshops & votes: They prepare workshops and meetings, perform these independently and moderate coordination rounds – both in presence and digital.
• Cross-site cooperation: They regularly exchange with colleagues from other DHBW sites for best practices, synergies and measures.

Your profile:

• completed university studies (Master, Diploma or B.Sc.), e.g. in Business Informatics, Business Administration with a focus on computer science or similar courses or equivalent knowledge acquired through relevant professional experience
• Safe handling of common notations for process modeling (especially BPMN 2.0)
• Practical experience in the application of modeling software (preferably SAP Signavio) for analysis, modelling and optimization of business processes
• Experience in training and empowering employees to process management methods and workflow design
• Very good project management skills as well as initial experience in the application of agile methods and frameworks (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
• High IT affinity and broad interest in topics relating to digitalization and high affinity for digital media and their use in workshops and voting processes; Java script programming knowledge of advantage
• High organisational skills and pronounced communication skills, especially moderation and presentation techniques, such as Miro, BBB, Zoom
• They quickly capture complex facts, think solution-oriented and have a creative, structured and result-oriented way of working
• Team player with a high degree of autonomy, sense of responsibility, pronounced service orientation and hands-on mentality
