Based on the basic services provided from our own RZ (the ''Oberedge Virtualization''), you support and, together with a Product Owner, direct one or more teams to build concrete services with which we support our customers. You define and manage technical requirements for building a central service portfolio to provide municipal IT operations. Your focus here is the central, RZ-based basics (such as network concept and architecture) as well as the integration into existing systems and technologies (e.g. ACI and VM goods). You support the design of the central IT architecture and the development of the necessary central services (e.g. monitoring and DNS) as well as security concepts by using available back-up and recovery solutions. You support important security projects, such as the advancement of a certification or the establishment of a central SIEM including an external SOC. You coordinate coordination with partners and internal teams on all cross-sectionally managed technical topics (e.g. CMDB, security policies and automation).

A completed study in the field of IT or a comparable training – ideally complemented by certifications (VMware, NetApp, Check Point, Microsoft 365) Multiannual practical experience in building complex structures in an on-site data center (ideal multi-mandant environments) – from network work to security to the central provision and monitoring of workloads Experience in the successful use of SDN to introduce standards in large structures, ideally already well-founded know-how in the field of automated provision and management of infra structure Experience in technical coordination of several stakeholders with the ability to combine the visibility and needs of different disciplines and areas Solid understanding of the differences between basic security approaches, such as Zero Trust and client separation / Multi-tenant environments Very good communication and documentation skills to quickly understand complex relationships in the team Analytical thinking, structured working methods and the ability to prioritise complex requirements in implementable work packages and to implement long-term strategies successfully Very good knowledge of German in word and writing and safe handling of technical English
