Senior Integration Engineer (m/w/d)

from now on and in full time in Meckenheim or Munich, alternatively nationwide at one of our BWI locations.

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,700 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security.

The application operation allows efficient service delivery within the shared service operation. The department is responsible for the trouble-free operation of the IT procedures and tools within the BWI and for the customer Bundeswehr. Within this field, the Application 3 department is responsible for the development, development and operation of the logistics apps, field service apps and Central Operations apps.

Your profile:

• Complete study of computer science, business informatics or comparable training
• 5 years of relevant professional experience in the mentioned task profile
• Good knowledge of HTTP, RESTful-API, JSON
• Routinized development experience with JavaScript, C# and possibly Python
• Backend experience in SQL databases and Node.JS
• Knowledge of SQL databases in backend

Your tasks:

• Building API endpoints with our logistics partners
• Building a middleware solution between frontend, database servers and ITSM
• Configuration in the automation of business incidents
• Planning and designing a web-based frontend for application
• Operation and development of REST APIs
• Conducting software tests
• Coordination and participation in release tests
