As an automation engineer (m/w/d) in the field of material flow control, our customers advise you on all logistic processes and the connection of automatic transport and conveyor systems. They are part of a project team and implement our material flow controller EPG ONE WCS. You work both remotely and in the office and directly with the customer. In detail, your tasks are as follows: They implement our material flow controller to monitor and optimize the operational processes in the warehouse. They use visualizations and emulations to optimize processes and advance development. When consulting and implementing automation projects, take into account the technical and logistical features. They take care of the technical clarification and specification of customer requirements. They perform gap analyses and identify necessary extensions/adjustments of the software solution. You create comprehensive process and functional documentation. They accompany workshops, tests and commissioning. In the development or adaptation phase, you work closely with the developer team to adapt the software to customer needs. Before delivery to the customer, check the quality of the development, including through virtual commissioning. They support sales in the design, supply creation and calculation.

They have completed vocational training with several years of professional experience in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification with a focus on automation technology and/or intralogistics.

They have knowledge of logistics, material flow control or the design and optimization of processes.

They have a high understanding of automated processes and conveying techniques.
