They analyse day-to-day events in the construction process of the SuedLink, which go beyond individual subprojects and cannot be optimally solved within the subprojects. They independently develop solution scenarios and mitigation measures to eliminate deviations, introduce them to management and thus ensure the achievement of the project objectives (time, budget, scope). Together with the respective subproject lines, they advise and decide on the implementation of mitigation measures for threatening risks or events that have already occurred within the framework of the set targets. In close cooperation with lot managers, planners, departments and other internal stakeholders, they ensure that all technical and operational interfaces are optimally coordinated. They support the project team in the use of IT tools, such as the “Trassometer”, which reflects progress and events along the route.

You have completed your studies in civil engineering, project management or a related area. They bring long-term (10+) professional experience in a similar position (for example in the project management of construction projects), ideally in large line construction projects such as railway, motorway or gas pipeline construction. They have deep experience in the control of large-scale construction projects and in appointment management as well as in the work preparation of large-scale construction projects, preferably with comprehensive decision-making powers. They are familiar with appointment management software and have a high IT affinity. They have excellent analytical skills, detail accuracy and a deep understanding of processes in line construction projects, ideally also in network construction and in HGÜ cable laying.
