About us / About our Facility Management: Our facility management is responsible, among other things, for the operation and further development of the technical and infrastructural services on campus, in Düsseldorf. Our focus is on a stable, secure and efficient infrastructure – from technical building equipment to energy and media supply to safety-relevant systems, reception and cleaning services, as well as green care. For our location in Düsseldorf we are now looking for a Department Manager Infrastructure / Technology (all genders), which is responsible for the technical and infrastructural operation of the campus and reports directly to the Head of Facility Management. Task profile: Infrastructure management: further development and optimization of a holistic infrastructure strategy as well as ensuring installation availability and coordination of maintenance and maintenance measures. Operator responsibility: Support in the performance of operator responsibility according to legal requirements. Service provider control: control and coordination of external service providers in the technical and infrastructural field. Project coordination: organisation and support of technical measures, repairs and smaller projects. Operating optimisation: Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and operating standards, as well as support in technical analysis and optimization of operating processes. Responsibility: leadership of a growing team (current team size: 3 people) (infrastructure / technology).

Requirements profile: Training: Complete technical training (e.g. electronics, supply technology, building technology, plant mechanics), alternatively a study in the field of facility management, supply technology, building technology, industrial engineering or comparable. Additional qualification: further training in facility management (e.g. master, technician, specialist facility management). Expertise: Multiannual experience in technical building operation, facility management or infrastructure operation (key-accounter experience of advantage). Further knowledge: Experience in controlling service providers and technical processes. Communication: German knowledge and good English skills. Characteristics: Structured, solution-oriented operation and pronounced communication capability.
