API Operations and Support Engineer (m/f/d)

With the Autobid.de brand, Auction & Markt AG is one of the leading auction houses in the field of automotive remarketing in Europe. The division carries out used car auctions exclusively for car dealers. The family business with 35 years of experience currently employs more than 400 employees throughout Germany. In order to strengthen our team, the following place is to be filled in full time at the company headquarters in Wiesbaden: Software Engineer (m/w/d) Through the active design of architecture with a technical focus and due to close cooperation with development teams, you have direct influence on the quality and stability of complex integration landscapes.

Integration, operation and further development of interfaces and integrations (e.g. APIs, event-based architectures, data services) for internal systems and external partners Technical analysis and troubleshooting at protocol, data and code level (debugging, logging, tracing) Close cooperation with development teams to identify, reproduce and address issues Active participation in the further development of interface architecture and technical standards Creation and maintenance of technical documentation (e.g. API specifications, integration guides, code examples) Conducting tests, validations and performance analyses for new and existing interfaces Support in monitoring and evaluation of metrics (e.g. usage, laths, error rates) Building and developing a technical knowledge database (e.g. debugging guides, best practices)

Complete studies in the field of computer science or business informatics or comparable qualifications Multiannual practical experience in working with interfaces, APIs and system integrations Finded programming knowledge in at least one language (e.g. Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python) as well as the ability to read, understand and adapt code Experience in handling API and debugging tools (e.g. Postman, Insomnia, Curl) as well as HTTP-based interfaces Good knowledge of modern frameworks and runtime environments (e.g. Node.js, Django, Flask or comparable) Experience with testing and performance tools (e.g. k6, Locust, SOAPUI or similar) Safe handling of data formats and protocols (e.g. JSON, XML, HTTP, if necessary Messaging like Kafka or AMQP) Experience with API description standards (e.g. OpenAPI/Swagger) and version management Basic understanding of monitoring, logging and observability (e.g. logs, metrics, traces) Analytical, structured and solution-oriented operation with strong technical focus Team skills and joy in working with developers and technical stakeholders ·Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing. Knowledge of Polish language (cooperation with Polish service providers) are advantageous, but do not constitute a condition
