Then you are right with us in the MP/BC2 team (supply control and optimization NPPs (new product projects)). The Mercedes-Benz Cars Purchasing & Supplier Quality (MP) division is responsible for purchasing production material and supplier quality for Mercedes-Benz AG with an annual purchase volume in the double-digit billion range. The MP/BC2 team is responsible for a multi-layered range of tasks with the areas of cooperation, procurement and committee management as well as theoretical awards. As part of your internship, you are a fully-fledged member of our team from the outset and work together with us in the areas of procurement and committee management and cooperation. Your tasks include in detail: Procurement and committee management: In the procurement and committee management, you support the coordination and control of procurement volumes for new product projects with a high purchasing volume, from the start of the award to the presentation in the MP allocation bodies

You make an active contribution in the organisational and content preparation of the award bodies, including in cooperation with specialist purchasing and series management

You can work with the creation of presentation documents for our management and the production of evaluations

Cooperations: As a central contact for cooperation in purchasing with other automotive manufacturers, we act as an interface for the functions involved, such as specialist purchasing, legal, project team and suppliers. With us you take the responsibility of subprojects as well as diverse and exciting tasks with a considerable influence on the entire organization

You participate in the creation of cooperation agreements for a wide variety of cooperations and assist in the implementation of cooperation projects and take part in this independently

As part of the preparation and participation in internal and external cooperation bodies at management level, you will get exciting insights

Promoting and improving cooperation standards as well as consulting / project management complete the field of activity

Overarching: The weekly team meeting is fully prepared by you, in agreement with the leadership

In addition, you support the preparation and implementation of team workshops and make a big contribution to additional projects in addition to the daily business - an independent takeover of projects is also possible

Course in Business Administration, Technology or Economics
