Senior Performance Manager Bahn (m/f/d)

Identification, evaluation and control of measures to improve the operational and economic performance of our railway companies, in particular with regard to punctuality, train failures, replacement traffic, vehicle availability and contract quality Development of cross-company concepts for optimising vehicle, personnel and resource availability, taking into account circulation planning, maintenance windows, site positions, fault management and reserve concepts Analysis of operational performance indicators as well as derivation of loadable recommendations for management, management and relevant areas of expertise based on specific operating events and traffic contract requirements Further development of control instruments, KPI systems and data-based decision bases for operational quality, efficiency, effectiveness of measures and contractual achievement Development and monitoring of measures to increase energy efficiency in railway companies, e.g. by analysis of driving profiles, vehicle and circulation, downtime and operational factors Advising the railway companies on economic issues in the context of transport contracts, performance requirements, penals, inferior benefits, damages and quality assurance mechanisms moderation and promotion of the professional exchange between railway companies, in particular for best practices in operational stability, disposition, vehicle availability, maintenance control and quality management Management and support of cross-departmental projects with direct reference to the System Bahn as well as presentation of results, decision options and implementation levels towards management and senior management Establishment and maintenance of internal and external networks, e.g. railway undertakings, responsibilities, infrastructure managers, workshops and relevant service providers

Successfully completed studies in the field of transport management, economic engineering, business management, transport, railways or a comparable subject area desirable Multiannual professional experience in a railway undertaking, railway infrastructure undertaking, task carrier environment or an advisory and/or Services Knowledge of operational relationships in rail passenger transport or rail transport, in particular in the interaction of roadmap, infrastructure, vehicles, personnel, control center/disposition, maintenance and customer information Good knowledge of the economic management of transport contracts as well as relevant performance, quality and sound figures Experience in handling operational challenges of a railway operation, in particular in the case of vehicle availability, personnel control, operating quality, construction sites, faults, replacement concepts and measures controlling expressed analytical and conceptual skills and a high degree of self-initiative; Ability to translate complex operating data into clear management statements and implementable measures Safe occurrence to senior management, operating management, departments and external stakeholders such as responsibilities, infrastructure managers or service providers Ability to prepare complex facts in a comprehensible manner and to convey them to the addressee between operational practice, economic governance and strategic decision-making levels
