Career changers as track builders

We are looking for you as a track builder:in (w/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the Flieden site. This is what you expect during your retraining: You will be introduced into the different tasks in track construction during work and visit various training courses in which you will learn further theoretical and practical knowledge of track construction. As a track builder, you ask for the infrastructure of the DB to be modernized and repaired. You always work in a team. After your retraining, you take the following activities: You are responsible for the maintenance and renewal of our rail network Maintenance, rebuilding and maintenance work on our track systems (e.g. replacement of rails, switches, thresholds, track bed) will be carried out together with your team Damage to the tracks can be eliminated with your colleague You work on changing construction sites, outdoors and mostly at night If necessary, you can support the teams at other locations You are going through our internal qualification program, regularly visit further education and are constantly learning

Your profile: You bring a school degree and multiannual professional experience, preferably in the technical field as a helper: Alternatively, you bring multi-year relevant professional experience in the construction industry Night, weekend and holiday work are no problem for you and you like to work outdoors Physically demanding works are fun and you are a real team player You like to learn and quickly find yourself in a new working environment You will bring a class B driving licence to start the construction sites with the team vehicle
