In our Business Group Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology, you work on highly complex systems for semiconductor process control and ensure that technological excellence and compliance with regulatory requirements go hand in hand.

Your role As a conformity engineer (m/w/x) you take a central role in product development and ensure the consistent development of highly innovative solutions. In multidisciplinary development teams you will: Conduct the conformity assessment procedure in new product development projects and sign the final approval as a conformity officer

Coordinating, structuring and testing the technical documentation in accordance with legal requirements – with emphasis on machine regulation and cyber resilience

Expert departments and external partners advise and coordinate in implementing regulatory and normative requirements – focusing on the semiconductor market (SEMI) and relevant target markets (e.g. USA, Taiwan, South Korea)

Research, analyse and translate new regulatory and technical requirements for new and existing products into concrete measures

Moderate, document and contribute significantly to device safety

Select, commission and coordinate internal and external testing sites and ensure that current material compliance regulations (e.g. REACH/RoHS) are complied with

independently plan, control and implement your own work packages, as well as prepare and communicate results for your address

Above-average degree in engineering or natural sciences, ideally with basic electrical skills

Multiannual practical experience in the conformity assessment of complex machines and well-founded experience in the standard risk assessment (EN ISO 12100)

Experience with relevant standards in the semiconductor sector (e.g. SEMI-S2, IEC 6101010-1, ISO 13849) and ideally an additional qualification for the machine regulation, EU declaration of conformity and CE marking

Embossed communication and team skills, safe handling of different stakeholders and first experience in project management or lateral guidance

A very structured, self-contained and targeted way of working, a pronounced view of the essentials and a high load capacity in a dynamic environment

Very good knowledge of German and English and the readiness for international business trips
