(Senior) Referent Finance (m/f/d)

We are looking for someone who supports our Finance team in Hamburg at the next possible time, works close to decisions, takes responsibility and actively contributes to the further development of our finance organization, instead of just reporting about it. This role is deliberately set up as a development position: through cross-departmental access, close cooperation with the financial management and integration into strategic topics and projects, you will get to know the entire financial organization at depth. You will be specifically promoted and prepared to take over a technical or leadership responsibility in the financial sector – an ideal career step for ambitious finance talents with leadership.

Sparring & Coordination: You support the financial management in day-to-day business and strategic topics, tax management routines and keep an overview across the range. Project and programme coordination: You coordinate cross-disciplinary initiatives and support the management of strategic transformation programs. You act as an interface between departments, project teams and management. Analysis & basis of decision: You'll create management analyses, condense key figures and develop transparency about the performance for strategic decisions. You prepare decision-making templates for the Executive Board and other supervisory bodies. Interface & Stakeholder Management: You are a link between finance teams and other functions (including IT, HR) as well as external partners such as auditors and banks. Special projects & further development: You are driving business cases, scenario analyses and special topics, and you are pushing for process improvement and digitalization in the financial sector.

You have a degree in business management, finance, economics and brings several years of professional experience in the financial environment or consulting/auditing. You have experience in the project or Programme work, ideally with PMO or coordination responsibility. You have pronounced analytical skills, are safe in handling Excel and BI tools, and ideally have SAP skills (R/3 or S/4HANA) as well as interest in finance transformations and process optimization. You will be able to create excellent presentation and communication skills and are safe in PowerPoint. You have a high degree of discretion, trustworthiness and sovereignty in handling sensitive information. You can negotiate in German and English.
