Our client is an economically sound, internationally active family company in the southern district of Osnabrück. With around 70 employees and well-known customers from different industries, it offers you a specialized environment where quality, reliability and smooth logistics are crucial. The products to be transported are mainly concerned overseas, brought to Germany and delivered from there to customers in Germany and Europe.

International Transport Logistics: You coordinate delivery of goods from international suppliers, in particular from Asia and the USA, to receipt of goods and to dispatch to customers within Germany Import & Shipping: You tune delivery dates, shipping methods and transport processes with suppliers, forwardings and other service providers – by air freight, sea freight, rail or truck Operational order coordination: You keep orders, delivery dates, stocks and open customer orders in mind and ensure that goods are in the right place at the right time Communication & Voting: You clarify delivery status, shipping documents and date deviations and are contact person for international suppliers and national transport service providers Transport service provider & cost: You are comparing freight offers, checking existing transport solutions and helping to match costs, delivery times and reliability in a meaningful way Process optimization: You are questioning existing processes, identifying potential for improvement and contributing to efficiently and reliably shaping the international supply chain

A completed commercial training, ideally as a merchant / merchant for forwarding and logistics services, forwarding merchant / forwarding merchant or a comparable qualification First professional experience in forwarding, transport logistics, import/export processing or international shipping coordination Knowledge of the coordination of transports, delivery dates and forwarding service providers Good organizational skills, a structured way of working and joy in keeping several processes in parallel Sufficient English skills to communicate with international suppliers by e-mail and by phone if necessary A pragmatic, reliable way of working and the need to not only manage processes, but to improve them meaningfully
