Technical clerk in the road traffic authority (m/f/d)

In your area of responsibility, you decide on transport law measures in accordance with the Road Transport Regulation (StVO) and take over technical supervision of our external offices. You decide on exemptions, permits and traffic regulations according to §§ 45, 46 StVO. This includes that you independently issue traffic regulations and conduct the associated consultation procedures. In the context of these hearings, you will include the police, the road load carriers and other interested parties. In addition, arrange signs and marking plans and check them carefully. In addition, you will draw up opinions and answer requests for road transport measures. You answer questions from citizens, from the Federal Highway Office (FBA), from central organizational units and from our offices. Another focus of your activity is the technical supervision and technical advice of our offices, such as the road construction authorities or the construction business unit. You regularly take part in local presence dates to explain the technical requirements, to accompany measures and to review the implementation.

For this position, a completed (specialized) university degree in civil engineering with a focus on transport or equivalent expertise, qualifications and experience is assumed. Ideally, you have professional experience in a road transport authority or comparable professional experience. You have a class B driving licence and show willingness to travel. That would be desirable: You bring knowledge of road law.
