Strategic component allocation: You perform the procurement process of components within your material group. This includes the preparation of decision-making documents according to the material group strategy for the final decision bodies. Leading negotiations: You are responsible for the coordination, preparation and implementation of price and contract negotiations and are safe to move in the defined negotiating margin. Global Sourcing & Marktanalyse: Based on the Brose Purchasing Guidelines, you will independently initiate global sourcing requests and work closely with project purchase and technology. Performance optimization: You take over the control, coordination and evaluation of the continuous supplier development, use the Balanced Score Card model or defined key payment systems, and conduct proactive measures for sustainable performance improvement. Strategy implementation: You implement the material group and supplier strategy for your associated procurement market in a targeted manner in coordination with your supervisor. Innovation & market expertise: Through stand-alone, in-depth sourcing market and product research (e.g. trade fair visits, specialist publications), you identify new manufacturing processes, technologies and forward-looking supply sources. Consolidate Brose-Bedarfe on the basis of verified planning data in group framework contracts or electronic catalogues to realize significant purchase price optimizations.

Qualification: A successfully completed technical or commercial university degree with relevant professional experience in purchasing/sourcing. As an alternative: a well-founded training and further training (e.g. technicians) with advanced subject-specific qualification and relevant practice. Negotiation and legal certainty: excellent and safe knowledge of negotiation and national/international contract law. Economic analysis: sound knowledge of value analysis and balance sheet law and finance. Technical affinity: A very good technical conception, especially for complex products and processes. Language competence for global markets: German and English knowledge in word and writing is essential for international cooperation.
