We are a free carrier of youth aid with the aim of supporting people in difficult situations of life. For many years we have been developing and living educational approaches in the areas of outpatient youth assistance:

• Social group work
• Social pedagogical family support
• Educational staff
• Accompanying transitions

... and stationary youth assistance:

• Residential group for children between 8–18 years

Senior Consultant (m/w/d) Social Group Work – 3 afternoons/week (22 hours)

• Parttime

Tasks

• Remarkable and need-oriented you accompany 7 children in primary school age on 3 afternoons/week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday – 12.30 hrs. to approx. 5.30 p.m.) together with a colleague
• Design of shared lunch, homework and leisure activities in various areas – also according to their own interests
• You fill everyday life with common experiences – and allow children to develop socially
• You document your observations and experiences with the children
• You regularly exchange with parents/authors

Requirements

• You have completed a degree as an educator (m/w/d) or a social education degree
• Or you have completed a “similar” training and are willing to continue training with our support
• You go empathically and towards the children
• You have a responsible and independent way of working
• You are interested in using you for child protection and child rights
