The joint innovation hub of the Fraunhofer ISI is responsible for the research and innovation centre ''Innovation & Foresight'' of Fraunhofer HNFIZ. It supports its clients:inside from business, politics, administration and civil society, innovation, digitalization & AI, sustainability, strategic perspectives and futures. Our researchers deal with interdisciplinary questions in the field of ''Systemical Innovation and Technology Management''. We conduct and process scientific and application-related projects for clients from the economy, politics and civil society as well as for other stakeholders. Through our scientific, systemic approach, we anticipate and analyze innovative developments and shape these with our partners sustainably. The aim of the ''Joint Innovation Hub'' is to make companies and institutions fit for their changing environment in the long term. As a scientific assistant, you can edit and/or run interesting projects of our different research areas. You analyse future developments and trends in relevant technology fields and their potential impact on markets and society. For digital and sustainable future technologies, in particular in the field of artificial intelligence (generative AI, etc.), carry out technological maturity and acceptance analyses, support the (further) development of a corresponding trend radar, drive innovation ideas ahead and develop new business models. Application of qualitative and/or quantitative methods of future research (e.g. Delphi, Scenario Technology, Trend Radar, Weak Signal Detection). Preparation and communication of complex future topics in workshops, presentations and publications. You advise and support companies and institutions in their transition towards a digital and sustainable future and always involve relevant future technologies and trends. To this end, identify, reflect and address the needs of local actors by proactively approaching them and enthusiastically initiate and implement projects that generate visible added value for clients. Thanks to your knowledge and experience, you will focus on thematic and methodological aspects and develop them successfully.

You have completed their studies, ideally in future research, innovation and technology management or a related interdisciplinary field. You have well-founded knowledge and practical experience in the application of Foresight methods and tools for strategic planning, scenario development and early technology recognition and have already successfully implemented Foresight and innovation projects. You bring a strong enthusiasm for our themes and have the pleasure of developing them. You are motivated to work in an innovative research environment that offers exciting challenges.
