Field of activity

The Youth Care Association develops, promotes and manages tasks of youth work in cooperation with the local youth caregivers as well as the youth associations, youth rings and youth initiatives active at a circular level. The main areas of work include youth support, youth education and youth cultural work, inclusion, participation of children and young people, educational protection of children and youth, and ensuring the right to holiday care for primary school children.

Within the framework of the internship, the work is carried out in the fields of Sections 11 to 14 of the Social Code VIII with the special focus on child and youth work. The contents of the professional recognition year include: transferring the legal framework of the fields of youth work, youth social work and educational youth protection, transferring the administrative foundations in the municipal administration and its bodies; presenting the structures, tasks, target groups and services of the youth aid institution as a prerequisite for social pedagogical action, methodologies, content and services in the fields of work, as well as conceptual preparation, implementation and follow-up of own actions and projects, Participation in service meetings, training courses, technical days and visits to various institutions.
