During the 3-year apprenticeship and further training as a trade specialist (m/w/d), intensive theoretical and practical phases await you, which are subsequently rewarded with two IHK degrees: Kaufmann or Businesswoman in retail (Monates 1 to 18) and certified retailer (m/w/d) (Monates 19 to 36). In addition, you will be trained in professional and work pedagogy and will complete the training examination, among other things. In your practical stages, you take responsible activities in one of our sales outlets and learn how the processes work in a large retail company: from ordering the goods through the entrance, presentation and storage of the goods to the sale and promotion of sales. At the same time, you deal with the question of how these processes can be controlled and optimized. At the vocational school, goods procurement, controlling and personnel management are among your training contents – which make you a professional in retail. You'll run the Abituriente program at one or more locations. The theoretical phases take place in 9 blocks of 2-3 weeks/year.
