We support our customers in the successful management of all IT assets as well as the associated operating systems and applications. We consider not only the hardware and software equipment of the terminals, but also the services and the relationships of the IT sets among themselves. To expand our IT Lifecycle team, we are looking for a dedicated software packager (w/m/d) so that software applications are installed and developed smoothly and efficiently on end devices of our customers. Your new task:

• Development and maintenance of software packages: You create and configure software packages with technologies such as MSI, InstallShield and other popular tools. In doing so, you will ensure a stable and smooth deployment of applications on Windows systems.
• Automation and optimization of deployment: You use modern deployment solutions such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Matrix42 Empirum or Altiris to provide, manage and update software. In addition, you regularly perform updates and adapt software packages to new requirements and versions.
• Testing and quality assurance of software packages: Start virtual machines to test software packages and tune with customers as well as specialist departments to requirements and tests. You allow for comprehensible installation processes, perform comprehensive tests and ensure fault-free distribution on various systems.
• Document and reporting: You create and provide detailed documentation on software packages and associated deployment processes to enable transparent tracking.
• Support and Troubleshooting for software deployments: You analyze and fix errors in software packages and thus ensure a stable operation in the target environments.
• Sic production of security and compliance requirements: You first set group policy objects (GPO) to configure software installations in accordance with the rules and comply with applicable security standards.

You bring that with:

• Complete training as a specialist in system integration or a comparable direction.
• Multi-year professional experience in IT system administration.
• Experiences in handling packaging and deployment tools, such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Matrix42 Empirum, Altiris or similar technologies.
• Excellent knowledge in Scripting with PowerShell, Bash and VBScript.
• Good understanding of networks, DHCP, DNS, group management via Active Directory/EntraID.
• High team capacity and customer orientation as well as careful and conscientious working.
• German- (at least C1) and fluent English skills.
