Creating fascinating: your tasks You design modular architecture concepts, interfaces and functional structures that enable scalable development of machine applications. You develop and structure reusable software modules, functions and generalized machine functions for different machine and application contexts. You analyse requirements from different product and application development areas, coordinate technical coordination with the respective development teams and translate the results into sustainable platform and implementation concepts. You use virtual development environments and approaches as well as new technologies and methods to make machine applications at an early stage usable and evolvable.

Bringing strengths: your qualifications A successfully completed study (MA, PhD) in computer science, software engineering, automation technology electrical engineering or a comparable technical field. Multiannual professional experience in control software development, embedded software development, system development or platform/framework development. Very good understanding of software architecture, modularization, interface design and reusability of software components. Extensive interest in new technologies, modern development methods and the sensible use of AI in software and machine application development. Experience with virtual development environments, virtual commissioning or digital machine models is advantageous. A structured, independent and reliable way of working, very good communication skills and very good knowledge of German and English. Other: The place can be occupied both in Rostock and in Nenzing (AUT).
