For Lufthansa Technik AG in Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel we are looking for a Production Assistant Engine Cleaning. In this craft and technically demanding environment, you are responsible for the careful and timely cleaning of highly complex engine components – a central contribution to the airworthiness of aircraft.

Tasks

• perform cleaning and preservation** of engine components, especially the Fan Major Module,
• **Procedure of all work done
• Order and cleanliness in the workplace and ensure careful handling of equipment
• Take care of special tasks
• to comply with working standards** in accordance with aviation regulations
• Process support by the professional use of cleaning and documentation
• Team work in shift operation to ensure scheduled operations

= qualification

• Complete specialist training in a metal profession (e.g. industrial mechanic / industrial mechanic, machining mechanic / machining mechanic)
• First to multi-year experience in a craft or technical manufacturing or maintenance environment
• knowledge of the cleaning and preservation of components and parts as well as in processes of aviation maintenance are desirable
• Secure handling of industry standard computer software for work documentation
• Good knowledge of German (min. B1); good knowledge of English (min. B1)
• Stability and physical loadability
• Teamability, flexibility and conscientious working
• English B1
• Willingness to work in two-shift operation
• A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is absolutely necessary
