The Orthopaedic Bad Hersfeld, Akademisches Lehrkrankenhaus der Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen, headed by Dr. Dworschak, is one of the most successful certified endoprosthetic centres in Germany. With more than 950 endoprosthesis implantations per year, the clinic offers a high degree of specialization as well as the competence to address each patient individually. Further focuses of the clinic are, in addition to the endoprosthetics of the hip and the knee joint incl. Partial arthroscopic surgery of large joints, foot surgery, hand surgery and rheumatoid orthopedics.

Conductive endoprosthetic elective interventions ( hip and knee endoprostheses) according to latest scientific findings Co-responsibility for the conservative and operative treatment of patients with degenerative joint diseases Participation in an interdisciplinary team consisting of doctors, nurses and therapists Working with the further development and quality assurance of the clinic Participation in further education and training Active participation in clinical research in endoprosthetics and the implementation of new treatment concepts Responsibility for patient advice, both preoperative and postoperative Supply and treatment of orthopaedic patients in stationary and outpatient areas Participation in orthopaedic/unfall surgery
