For our development team in the Public Authorities Division, we are looking for your smart head for one of our locations in Berlin, Bonn, Borchen, Dresden, Eschborn, Essen, Hamburg, Hannover, Ilmenau, Munich, Siegen or Stuttgart. Your tasks You develop a Linux desktop system in a small team that integrates the Python-based application so that it is available as a direct work system on our target platform. This brings you experience with Debian or Ubuntu-based Linux systems as well as their underlying technologies (Debian packages) and administration. Work on the command line is your daily bread and terms like SystemD (Service and Unit Files), CloudInit, Mounts, FUSE and Overlay are not strange to you. We use well-known development tools such as VSCode, Git, GitLab and Container. Many tasks are automated with us, further automations are planned for the future. You bring some experience with Python and work on the active development of existing and new development of other applications. These applications are distributed as independent products. We are happy to take up your experience from your previous career to make our ecosystem more attractive to our customers and make our customers' work easier in the VS environment. Here we wish to know how to build simple graphic user interfaces with GTK as well as interaction with the underlying base system.
