Technical development of the Data Management & Analytics Platform as a basis for modern data, analytics, BI and AI applications in the LBBW Development of reusable platform standards, templates and reference implementations for the secure, consistent and efficient provision of data products, applications and analytical solutions Designing technical standards for development, deployment, permissions, operation and documentation with focus on easy usability and wartability Implementation of best practices for automation, CI/CD, quality assurance and data governance as well as continuous development of the necessary technical components Advising data engineers, BI teams, data scientists and specialist areas for the use of platform standards and recurring requirements in robust, scalable solutions Ensuring stable productive use of standards including monitoring, error analysis, automation, enablement and continuous improvement

Complete study of computer science, business informatics, media informatics or a comparable subject At least four years of practical experience with databricks as well as experience in developing platform standards, reference implementations or templates for several teams Very good knowledge of Data Engineering, Data Governance with Unity Catalog as well as semantic data models and ontologies on modern data platforms Found experience with data-driven web applications, in particular Databricks apps, as well as their safe and scalable design, deployment and operation on the platform Multiannual experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and Terraform as well as ability to design easily usable and manageable technical standards Very good knowledge of Python, Spark/PySpark and SQL and well-founded experience with Delta Lake, Lakehouse architectures and distributed computing on Databricks Experience with Power BI, Databricks Dashboards, Microsoft Fabric or comparable analytics and reporting tools as well as understanding the interaction of data products, authorizations, deployment processes and production-related usage scenarios High implementation competence, strong team orientation, joy of joint design and a good sense of humor Very good knowledge of German in word and writing
