The ''Financials'' department of the Fraunhofer headquarters is shaping the external accounting of one of the largest research organisations in Europe. We are responsible for the annual financial statements of trade law, the legal business plan and the public financial reporting. In order to implement our financial strategy, we are looking for a motivated personality who, with the strength of implementation and joy of changes, drives the further development of our accounting and financial statements processes. In a central office of the departmental management, you conduct smaller projects, manage cross-departmental processes and actively shape the financial architecture of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft.

Project management for modernising commercial core processes and end-to-end process harmonisation, in particular in SAP S/4HANA, to make our final and reporting processes more efficient and digital Continuous control of the cross-departmental annual processes, including rolling scheduling, quality assurance and process optimization Audit management for auditing, including commissioning and coordination of audit-relevant coordination with executives Sparring partner*in the department and department management in the further development of financial architecture and organisational processes in accounting Handling of financial and accounting policy issues and consulting management bodies

Economic studies (master or comparable), ideally focusing on accounting, finance or auditing Multiannual professional experience in auditing or in a central role in financial and accounting Comprehensive knowledge of the production and audit of quarterly and annual accounts and the accounting by commercial law (HGB) Routine in project management, process modernisation, moderation and interest exchange between stakeholders Ability to structure complex issues clearly and to communicate convincingly at management and committee level
