Number: MER0003MB9 Our department is responsible for the design, mechanics, software and innovative technologies for the internal combustion engines, PHEVs and BEVs of Mercedes cars and VAN as well as AMG GmbH. We thus make a decisive contribution in the phase of transformation into the future of the power train. The team is responsible for the design, design, validation, system integration of hardware and software as well as the system development of mechatronic powertrain components. These challenges include: Working in the Mercedes-Benz engine development in its entire variety with mechanical, electrical and software related topics Support in the production of measurement programs and experiments in INCA for measurements on the test bench and on test tracks in the vehicle Further development of the component test stand for electrical charging Evaluation and processing of measurement data in MDA, CANAPE or other suitable tools Coordination of measuring points and ensure documentation Support in tracking and documenting development work in Jira and Confluence Engine Production, Vehicles, Application and Engine Test Stands

Studies in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, aerospace engineering or a comparable degree programme Safe handling of MS Office Embossed Analytical Skills High level of social competence, communication skills, self-employment, self-initiative and team capacity is required Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing enthusiasm for the engine concepts of the future Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
