Medical responsibility for clinical studies in the field of metabolic diseases - in particular diabetes mellitus, obesity, fat liver (MAFLD/MASH), lipid metabolic disorders and hypertension Private conduct of medical activities in the context of studies: reconnaissance talks, anamnese, physical examinations, evaluation of medical findings Evaluation and co-design of study protocols regarding medical feasibility, safety and study design Close cooperation with interdisciplinary teams (study coordination, monitoring, laboratory, data management, sponsors) Medical care for the students throughout the course of the study Participation in scientific publications, abstracts and presentations at specialist congresses Construction and maintenance of medical networks and scientific cooperation with external partners

Approbation as a doctor in Germany Clinical experience in one or more of the following areas: Internal medicine General medicine Endocrinology / Diabetology Cardiology or nephrology (of advantage in metabolic processes) Funded interest in clinical research - ideally first experience in carrying out or accompanying studies (GCP certificate of advantage) Scientific thinking and joy of evidence-based medicine Willingness to work into new indications and study designs Communication strength in dealing with student participants, colleagues and external partners Teamability, sense of responsibility and a structured, conscientious way of working Very good knowledge of German (min. C1), good knowledge of English in word and writing
