For the HAYG2 ''Radar Processing Engineering & Tracking' department, we are looking for a Head of Radar Processing Engineering & Tracking (m/d) The department currently employs about 30 employees. The tasks of the department include tracking functionality, radar control software development as well as parts of radar processing for naval and land projects for TRS-4D, TRML-4D and Spexer as well as the associated system engineering activities.

Management and further development of the department as well as responsibility for costs and reporting Leadership, motivation and individual further development of employees Ensuring the planning and implementation of development contracts Assessment and analysis of development issues from the point of view of the Make-Or-Buy perspective, taking into account cost-effectiveness, quality standards and deadlines Promoting technology innovations and ensuring the sustainability of tracking, radar control software and radar processing functionality Budget, resource and investment planning and resource utilization planning for responsibility Close cooperation with other departments and continuous striving for improvements in this Ensure all organisational and supervisory obligations (HSE)

Complete university studies in the field of systems engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification Multiannual experience in professional or disciplinary leadership Finded own experiences in algorithmic / software development and software quality assurance Experiences with relevant software standards Experiences with modern software development processes and software technologies, especially Agile Development and SAFe Framework Good knowledge and experience in radar technology Designed skills in leadership, communication and constructive conflict management Excellent problem solving skills and analytical thinking Embossed communication skills Embossed entrepreneurial thinking and action Teamability, enforcement capability and loadability as well as safe occurrence Very good knowledge of German and English
