In this function, you are responsible for the simulation and analysis of complex optimal systems, predominant in the infrared spectral range. You assist in tolerance and sensitivity testing of optical systems, using software tools such as Zemax, Code V or FRED for scattered light and thermal analysis. The specification of optical systems is just one of your tasks, such as the measurement of simulator results in the laboratory. As a contact person (m/w/d), you can use our cutting points for external project partners in the natural and inter­nal environment. You introduce their own ideas to improve existing systems and evaluate new technology trends for their suitability for our applications.

A successfully completed study of physics, pho­tonics, laser and opto­tech­nologies or the natural or industrial knowledge with the focus on optical technologies is a good precondition for this vacancy. You convince us by your accumulated experience in the transition with software tools for optics (for example FRED, Zemax or Code V).
