The focus is on the production, processing, administration and publication of information in companies that are specific to the media and target groups.

Support of professors in research and teaching in the fields of linguistics, scientific work, text production, translation management Supporting editorial and translation software (including translation memory systems, terminology databases) Translations of various texts from the German into English Support for students, e.g. in project and study work Activities within the framework of the management of the degree programme

Completed university education (Bachelor) in (Technical) translation or closely related discipline Ideally relevant professional experience in the field of technical communication / editorial and/or teaching experience and/or experience in computer linguistics Willingness to incorporate and support software systems Strong affinity for scientific work Communication skills, especially in the handling of students Rapid opinion Interest in new topics and tasks
