Intraday Traders (m/f/d)

You independently manage the short-term electricity and gas market in shiftwork

You commercially optimize the production facilities of the Mark-E (GuD power plant and a highly flexible 130 MW pump storage plant in Rönkhausen) taking into account technical restrictions

You are contact persons for the transmission system operators as part of the timetable management and the handling of Redispatch measures

The continuous management of fluctuating and non-floating EE plants is one of your daily tasks

You independently develop trading strategies and continuously develop them

Project work and special tasks are carried out by you

You are responsible for ensuring regulatory reporting obligations

You have completed a commercial or technical training with relevant professional experience. Ideally, you also have a suitable additional qualification, such as Bachelor, Master, Technicians, Business Administration

You have unrestricted suitability for shiftwork (break, late and night shift)

A safe handling of MS Office products, especially Excel, is of course for you

You have very good knowledge of German and also have basic knowledge of English

You think strategically and solution-oriented. You like to take responsibility and are able to make decisions even under time pressure

You are ready to learn, able to team and have a high communicative competence

“nice to have” You have knowledge of gas and electricity in the liberalised market, including energy trading and renewable energy

You have professional experience in the energy industry and experience with the common commercial systems

You are already registered as spot market brokers (EPEX Spot / EEX and, if applicable, other stock exchanges)

You have experience in programming (VBA or other programming languages such as Python)
