Your mission As a Team Lead Procurement & Demand Planning, you will take the professional and personal leadership of our 3-person shopping team. With your view for the great whole and your passion for negotiations, you build strong supplier relationships and ensure that our products are available reliably and profitably.

Your tasks: Leadership & Development: Professional and personal leadership of our 3-person Procurement team

Strategic & Operative Procurement: Responsibility for the entire purchase volume of 175 products including Contract and contract negotiations as well as the establishment of long-term supplier partnerships in Germany and the EU market – you are also actively supporting in the daily business and bringing you hands-on

Demand Planning: Control and further development of forecasting to ensure product availability and optimize costs

Supplier management: Identification, selection and evaluation of new suppliers and maintenance of existing partnerships

Travel activities: You visit suppliers and production sites to strengthen partnerships and ensure processes, and use trade fair visits to identify new suppliers and new raw materials

Process & Strategy: Conducting strategic purchasing initiatives, optimizing procurement and planning processes with scalability, sustainability and profitability

Analysis & Collaboration: Monitoring relevant KPIs, deriving measures and close cooperation with Finance, Operations and Product Development

You have a completed economic study or a comparable qualification and have several years of experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in the food or nutritional supplement segment

You bring first leadership experience and enjoy developing and motivating a team

You are characterized by very good negotiating skills and have already successfully established long-term supplier relationships

You have experience in handling ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

You work analytic and structured, but at the same time you remain hands-on and pragmatic in the implementation. In doing so, you have a sense of optimizing shopping and planning processes and setting them up to be scalable in the long term.

You are strong in communication and can work with various stakeholders – from finance to operations to product development – at eye level

You have fluent knowledge of German and English and can safely use both languages in a professional context

You live in Hamburg or surroundings and/or are ready to be at the office in Hamburg Altona for 2 days a week
