System Engineer / Architect IT Systems for Naval Ships (m/w/d)

In your role, you are responsible for the design and system integration with the focus on complex IT systems/IT network architectures on naval vessels/boots. They accompany HW/SW development projects. The creation of derived requirements as well as the specifications and test specification is your responsibility. The testing of technical specifications of the system suppliers and the support of the project management falls within your area of responsibility. They support system certifications by classification societies. You control our system suppliers during order processing. Planning and implementation of commissioning and acceptance on board is one of your tasks.

They have a technical-nature studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, communications technology or mathematics. You have knowledge in the field of network topologies, storage/server clouds, virtualization (e.g. VM goods), IT security in the network area (e.g. firewall/CDM/package diodes), QoS, etc. Topics like Network Device Configuration, MBSE, Software Defined Network are not strange to them. They like to work in the team and have fun sharing your knowledge and skills with others and accompanying them when learning new ways of working. They convince with responsibility and flexibility and show self-initiative and self-employment. They are ready for occasional national and international missions, partly in the form of seafarers. We ideally expect first professional experience in the fields of IT infrastructure, complex networks/architectures, virtualization, quality of service (QoS) and IT security.
